Who can apply for the Kelli O'Hara Awards?
Public and Private Schools within the Kelli O'Hara Awards region. In some situations, certain homeschool organizations can also apply for evaluation.
When will finalists be announced?
Finalists are generally announced in early May.
How do school's receive their classification?
Once all ADMs have been identified, the total number of schools participating in the Outstanding Musical Performance category will be divided into three groups. Every effort will be made to distribute schools as evenly as possible among the three groups.
How do students participate in the ensemble for The Kelli O'Hara Awards?
Students must be cast in a qualifying role and complete both the written and filmed portions of their application to be eligible. Preference will be given to graduating seniors, followed by junior students who attend a school that is not producing an approved musical during the next Kelli O’Hara Awards season.
How do I get tickets for the Kelli O'Hara Awards ceremony?
Tickets are typically available two weeks prior to the Kelli O’Hara Awards. A number of tickets will be dispersed amongst select students and schools. This number is yet to be determined. Any remaining tickets will be available to the general public.
Are tickets to The Kelli O'Hara Awards free?
At this time, tickets to the Kelli O’Hara Awards are free. More information will be provided once tickets are available to the public.
