ADJUDICATION&EVALUATION
If you're a theatre professional or someone with extensive theatre training and are interested in adjudicating or evaluating high school musical theatre performances, we would love to have you involved!
ADJUDICATE
Schools competing in the competitive track of the Kelli O'Hara Awards have performances adjudicated by a panel of in-person adjudicators. Adjudicators score and provide feedback on a school's overall production as well as individual students in qualifying roles. Each adjudicator is considered on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, we can't accept everyone into the adjudicator program due to scheduling conflicts, the number of applications received, and our goal of building a well-rounded group of professionals with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise.
EVALUATION
Schools participating in the non-competitive track of the Kelli O'Hara Awards can request evaluators to attend their in-person performances. Similar to 'Adjudication,' evaluators attend performances and provide written feedback. Evaluators do not track scores; instead, evaluators solely focus on providing written feedback that is later forwarded to the schools.
At this time, we are not currently accepting adjudicator/evaluator applications for our 26/27 Kelli O'Hara Awards season. We still welcome you to apply!
